Truffles backstory

Our pursuit of craft businesses led us to Davison’s, an award-winning Manx chocolatier and ice creamery. Founded in 1988, Davison’s Master Chocolatier, Ian Davison, is a protégé of Gulliver’s Chocolate (the historic London-based chocolatier supplier to Harrods and Fortnum & Mason).

The collaboration between Far Shore Merchants and Davison’s created a deliciously indulgent blend of decadent Belgian chocolate with a hint of the smooth flavour of Peggy Dark Rum.

Made using Manx butter and the finest Callebaut Belgian chocolate are all handmade and hand-finished and feature smooth, decadent chocolate shells filled with creamy truffle and Peggy Dark Rum infused with aromas of caramel, oak, and marzipan for unparalleled depth of flavour.
